DUBAI, Jan. 10th, 2009: Minister of Foreign Trade HE Sheikha Lubna Al Qassimi today opened the Arabplast 2009 and TechnoTube 2009 exhibitions at the Dubai World Trade Center.

900 companies from 34 countries are participating at the two events.

The minister said investments in polymers and petrochemiclas are still on the rise despite the current credit criris.

“Manufacturing industiries contribute to the diversification of the UAE economy and are still attracting big investments”, she remarked.

The two exhibitions, she added, have seen a 25% increase in the number of exhibitors and spaces over last year’s editions.
