Abu Dhabi, Dec. 20th, 2008 President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has issued a number of federal laws and decrees including a federal law No. 6/2008, establishing a national council for tourism and antiquities.

Other laws issued by Sheikh Khalifa include Federal Law No. 7/2008 on National Center for Archives and Research, Federal Law No. 10/2008 on Medical Responsibilities, Federal Law No. 11/2008 on the licensing of a fertility centre in the UAE.

President Khalifa also issued decrees No 6/2008 establishing telecommunication Infrastructure Company, decree No. 10/2008 amending some provisions of the Federal Law No. 1/1972 on powers of ministers and their ministries, and decree no 11/1008 on federal human resources.
