Emirates has announced it is suspending flights to more destinations in light of ongoing COVID-19 outbreak and restrictions on air travel.
The total number of destinations affected now stands at 111, which means Emirates has temporarily suspended more than 70% of its routes.
The latest destinations added to the list include cities in the UK, the USA, Australia and all cities in New Zealand.
Some of these routes are suspended until June end, meaning many expatriate residents will need to look for alternatives to fly back home if they need to travel before 30 June.
Services to Auckland, Christchurch, Chicago, Brisbane, Stockholm, Vienna, Manila, Colombo, Glasgow, Newcastle, and London Stansted are also suspended until the end of June.
