ADNH achieves significant presence in ITB Berlin

Abu Dhabi, March 10th, 2011 (WAM) — Richard W. Riley, CEO of Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) said that the company has achieved significant growth in the tourism industry and the development of related services.

In an interview with WAM he said that ADNH has significant presence in ITB Berlin to promote its luxury tourism projects to be opened in Abu Dhabi during the current year.

ITB Berlin focuses on upcoming projects, outcomes, future plans and factors affecting tourism, and ADNH is building two huge landmark Hotels in Abu Dhabi while continuing to hold an esteemed position in the market for many decades to come, he added.

He made it clear that with the Abu Dhabi government 2030 plan, and all the aspects of the Abu Dhabi city and its compliance with the standards of a world class tourism destination (geographical situation, stability, infrastructure and heritage) those were all drivers for their business plan and that it was the right time to make a move and bring something contemporary, elegant and beneficial to the tourism and hospitality industry of Abu Dhabi specifically and the rest of the emirates in general.

“I can not single out a specific sector of our business, I would say they all complement each other. I mean we are very proud of our international hotel brands, our Al Diar hotel chain is quite significant to the its target market; transportation, travel and tours and catering, they all make it picture perfect, adding synergy to the company’s core businesses.” he added.

Mr. Riley noted that ADNH is always keen to support and work with Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority for the benefit of the destination without forgetting to mention the important contribution of Etihad airlines in strengthening the tourism infrastructure of Abu Dhabi and the support both contribute to different tourism in the Emirate.

In response to a question about opening of ADNH’s new hotels, Riley said “We are all waiting for the official openings of the Park Hyatt Development at Saadiyat island and the Ritz Carlton Hotel, especially after the great success and experience we shared in your last launch of the Sofitel Hotel in Dubai’s JBR. ” WAM/SS/AM
