AC Milan’s squad of superstars due in Dubai today

Dubai, Dec. 29, 2008 AC Milan‘s global stars arrive in Dubai today for their Emirates-sponsored Training Camp in Dubai.

The squad of 26 players includes AC Milan stalwart and club captain, Paolo Maldini who at the age of 40 is still in sensational shape. Also in the group is the much-talked about loan signing, David Beckham, who remains one of the most recognisable faces in world football. The former England captain will certainly be looking forward to getting acquainted with his new teammates in training over the coming nine days.

Another of the globally familiar faces in the squad is that of Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho. He’ll be joined by compatriot Kaka who made his debut for the club back in 2003 and despite a serious knee injury, still managed to finish as AC Milan’s top goalscorer last season.

With the likes of Filippo Inzaghi, Russia’s Andriy Shevchenko, Dutch veteran Clarence Seedorf and Gianluca Zambrotta also travelling to Dubai, the squad list is certainly an impressive one.

The AC Milan players will also be in action on January 6 when they take on Hamburg SV in the Emirates and DTCM-sponsored Dubai Football Challenge which takes place at the new Emirates sports venue, The Sevens on the Al Ain Road.
