(WAM) ALDAR, one of Abu Dhabi’s leading property development companies, is to commission seven hotels on its Yas Island destination in time for the UAE capital’s hosting of the finale round of the 2009 Formula One Grand Prix this November.
There will be four 5 star properties, one 4 star property and two 3 star properties to be developed. This will boost Abu Dhabi’s accommodation inventory by 2,298 rooms and its food and beverage by 30 outlets, that includes the 20 individual restaurants.
ALDAR’s Chairman Ahmed Al Sayegh outlined this multi million dollar project. He pledged the company’s support for the Gourmet Abu Dhabi also which will be world class culinary event being held in the UAE capital next month.

Yas Island Scheduled to commence construction in two phases during 2007, Yas Island occupied a total land area of 2,500 hectares, of which 1,700 hectares will be claimed for development.
