Eating options in Dubai during day time in Ramadan

Public Eating and drink is not permited during the month of Ramadan in UAE. If you happen to be in Dubai During Ramadan you need not worry much for there are plenty of restaurants that respectfully open to serve non-Muslims during Ramadan.

Bistro Madeleine: Heartwarming French food with great service.

Café Arabesque: Luxurious Levantine spot.

Kisaku: Tasty mid-range Japanese food.

Market Café: A lovely deli spot.

Planet Hollywood: Munch on burgers while checking out Hollywood memorabilia.

Also open at Wafi: Asha’s for homely Indian food; Medzo for highly recommended Italian, and Mahi Mahi for
lovely fresh seafood (04 324 7777).

Sukhothai: An ideal lunching option if you love traditional Thai cuisine.

Wox: Mid-priced noodles and similar: we love the broth of the noodle soup.

Downtown Burj Khalifa to Satwa

Ewaan: Mid-range Arabic staples.

Cactus Cantina: For classic Mexican grub in the heart of bustling Satwa.

Rydges Plaza, Satwa (04 398 2274). Open daily noon-1am

Café Sushi: A posh conveyer-belt sushi joint.

The Fairmont, Sheikh Zayed Road (04 311 8316). Open daily noon-11pm

Gourmet Burger Kitchen: Dubai’s favourite burger joint will be offering its addictive staples.

Mediterraneo: Armani’s more casual option – it’s still pretty swanky, though.

Armani Hotel, Downtown Burj Khalifa (04 888 3888). Open daily 7am-11am, 12.30pm-2.30pm, 6pm-2am

Mercurries: An Indian lunchtime spot.

DIFC (04 370 0737). Open daily 9am-9pm.

More Café: This stalwart cafe is perfect for lazy, leisurely lunches.

Al Murooj Rotana (04 343 3779). Open daily 9am-7pm

Wagamama: This Asian eatery will be offering a Ramadan set menu. The door will be closed during the day,
but the restaurant is still open if you want to eat in.

Crowne Plaza, Sheikh Zayed Road (04 305 6060). Open daily noon-midnight

Zuma: High-end Japanese cuisine in sleek, chic surroundings.

Gate Village, DIFC (04 425 5660). Open daily for lunch 12.30pm-2.45pm
