The city of Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates and is the UAE’s second largest city with a population of around 900,000. The palace itself is separated in to 2 main sections. The Old Fort showcases the original structure dating back to Sheikh Saeed Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan the ruler of the city from 1845 to 1855. The second section consists of the part of the palace which was added on in 1936 by Sheikh Shakhboot. The Al Hosn Palace is indeed an excellent location for tourists to catch a glimpse of the rich history the city of Abu Dhabi boasts of.
