ABU DHABI, Jan. 27th, 2009: H.H Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan today opened the 5th annual Abu Dhabi Real Estate and Investment Show (IREIS 2009) at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Center.
In statements during a tour at the venue, Sheikh Sultan noted the efforts and measures by the UAE government to minimize the impact of the global financial crisis on the national economy.
He expressed confidence that the government would not spare efforts to pump more liquidity into UAE banks to help weather the crisis and restore momentum of finance to real estate projects.
“The UAE real estate market will tangibly improve in the coming few months”, he stressed adding that the current low prices offer an ideal opportunity to invest in real estates.
Banks too, Sheikh Sultan remarked, will be in a better position to provide finance and facilities to investors, which will eventually improve the economy in general.
A number of dignitaries and VIPs have paid visits to the emirate’s premier annual property show to view the latest property market trends and developments.
